Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose and Acceptance

These Terms govern purchases from Velarentique, an online handbag store serving Singapore. By placing an order online, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not submit an order.

2. Store Scope

Velarentique accepts orders for delivery to valid residential or business addresses within Singapore only. We do not deliver internationally. You must provide complete, accurate, and current contact and delivery information. We may contact you to clarify an address, product selection, size, or delivery arrangement before processing an order.

3. Orders and Availability

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected item. An order is accepted when Velarentique confirms it for processing. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if an item is unavailable, information is incomplete, the address is outside Singapore, or there is a reasonable concern involving duplicate, abusive, or fraudulent activity.

4. Cash on Delivery

All orders use Cash on Delivery. Full payment is due to the courier when the order reaches the stated delivery address. Customers should ensure that the required amount and an official recipient are available. The website does not collect online card payments for product orders.

No shipping charge applies to eligible Singapore deliveries. Any product price shown when the order is placed is the amount payable unless we identify and communicate an obvious pricing error before dispatch.

5. Dispatch and Delivery Schedule

The expected delivery period is two to three business days. We generally require one business day to prepare and dispatch the order, followed by one to two business days for courier transit. Business days exclude weekends and Singapore public holidays.

6. Cancellation Window

You may request cancellation by emailing bags@velarentique.com while the product remains with us. A request is effective only when acknowledged before courier handover. Once the parcel leaves our warehouse and is handed to the courier, cancellation is unavailable.

Refusing a dispatched parcel does not restore the cancellation right. If delivery fails because no recipient is available, the Cash on Delivery amount is unavailable, access is denied, or the customer refuses the parcel, the order will be considered as canceled after the failed attempt. Repeated failed deliveries may result in reasonable restrictions, advance confirmation requirements, or rejection of future orders. We will assess each case fairly and will not restrict statutory consumer rights.

7. Thirty Day Eligible Returns

The return period begins on the delivery date and lasts thirty calendar days. A return is available when:

• the handbag arrived damaged;

• an incorrect product was delivered; or

• an incorrect size was delivered.

Returns are not offered solely because a customer changes their mind, subject always to rights provided by Singapore law. Contact bags@velarentique.com within the return period with the order details, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs where reasonably available.

Eligible collection from the original Singapore delivery address is free, and no restocking fee applies. The product must be returned with its original packaging, included accessories, labels, and supplied materials. Customers should avoid using the item beyond what is reasonably necessary to identify the reported issue. Packaging damage caused solely by necessary opening will be considered reasonably.

8. Assessment, Exchange, and Refund

After doorstep collection, we will assess the returned item within twenty four hours. We will compare its condition with the reported damage, incorrect product, or incorrect size. This assessment does not remove any non-excludable statutory right.

Where eligibility is established, we will arrange an exchange. If the appropriate replacement is unavailable, we will provide a refund by bank transfer. We will process the transfer within twenty four hours after completing the assessment and receiving accurate bank details. A banking provider may require up to seven business days to display the funds in the customer’s account. Velarentique is not responsible for additional processing time controlled solely by the receiving bank, but will provide reasonable assistance with a traceable transfer issue.

9. Legal Standards and Liability

These Terms operate alongside the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003, including applicable Lemon Law solutions, the Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, the Electronic Transactions Act 2010, and the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. Where direct marketing applies, Velarentique will also observe relevant Do Not Call provisions.

Goods will be supplied in accordance with applicable statutory requirements. Any exclusion or limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law. Velarentique does not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that Singapore law does not permit parties to exclude. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for indirect loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the purchase agreement was formed.

10. Privacy and Communications

Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. We use order information for fulfillment, customer support, returns, fraud prevention, records, and lawful business administration. Service communications may be sent by email or telephone. Marketing communications are managed according to consent and applicable withdrawal rights.

11. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms and each purchase are governed by Singapore law. The parties should first attempt to resolve concerns through direct communication. Nothing prevents a customer from approaching an appropriate consumer body, dispute resolution channel, or Singapore court.
